First off, I want to say thank you to Amazing Grass for providing me with the opportunity to taste and review their products. They truly are an amazing company 🙂
I’m going to start out by breaking all the Amazing Grass products down into the categories: Wheat Grass, Superfood, Amazing Meal, Kids Superfood, Energy Bars. I encourage you to go back and read the reviews as I tasted the product, but I figured this would also make it easier to have all of them in one spot!
I was very pleased with the superfood varieties. The Green Superfood, Berry Superfood, and Chocolate Superfood were all equally delicious. I could see these being a great smoothie with added fruits, milks, or even veggies, for breakfast or a post-workout snack. If I had to pick a favorite it would definitely be the Berry. It was light and refreshing and I wish I would have tasted this earlier in the summer instead of at the end. I’m sure I will still find days to enjoy it though 😉

I had fun trying out the three Kids Superfood flavors. I could see kids liking all of these. The Original was definitely the best and tasted like a creamy milkshake 🙂 I kind of want one right now just thinking about it. Kids will love these as smoothies or “milkshakes” and the nutrition they are getting in each glass can’t be beat.

The Amazing Meal products are for a little heartier smoothie or drink. They would be great breakfast smoothies with some added fruits (banana is highly recommended) or with a salad for an energizing lunch! I have to say that I didn’t care for the chocolate flavoring in some of the other products, but in the Amazing Meal it was great! It was like a chocolate milkshake! However, being fall and my wanting to have everything cinnamon, ginger or fall-like spiciness, I have to say that the Chai Amazing Meal stole the show for me. If anyone likes chai tea lattes, I would definitely recommend trying this product. It will save you the caffeine buzz, but give you an energizing boost with all of the amazing nutrients it contains. As much as I liked the Amazing Meal products, my least favorite product came from this category. I did not like the Pomegranate Mango. It was not good at all and left me with a bad taste in my mouth. However, having one bad drink out of so many really isn’t that bad 😉
Oh the wonders of wheat grass. Being my normal purchase from Amazing Grass, I may be a little biased on this one. I love this stuff. To me, it’s the most versatile of all the products. You start with the wheat grass as a base and the add ins are practically endless. My usual is, of course, a combination of the wheat grass powder, frozen banana, almond or hemp milk, spinach, and ginger. Sooooo good 🙂 This one will always be my favorite, but I am so glad I found a few new faves along the way of the taste testing!
Green Superfood Energy Bars
The energy bars come in four different varieties. Amazing Grass offers the Original Green Superfood Energy Bar, the Berry Superfood Energy Bar, the Chocolate Superfood Energy Bar, and the Peanut Butter Chocolate Superfood Energy Bar. As well as I like the drink mixes, I don’t feel the same way about the bars. I found the taste to be a little bitter and bland with not a whole lot of good flavor to them. The only ones I liked were the Chocolate and the Peanut Butter Chocolate because the bar was coated in chocolate and therefore helped hide the true taste of the bar. Chocolate makes everything taste better so if you are going to try these, I recommend sticking with the chocolate varieties 🙂 The nutrition facts are, not surprisingly, great though!
Overall, I would definitely recommend Amazing Grass products to anyone. There is a flavor and variety for whatever your needs may be. I have been using Amazing Grass in my morning smoothies for some time now and I feel great. It starts my day off on a healthy foot and I feel energized and focused.
Thanks Amazing Grass 😀
